How long have you been doing this?
Photography has always been apart of my life and grew from what started as a hobby. I began shooting professionally 3 years ago and haven’t looked back since. As a Freelance photographer I have had the opportunity to build a wide variety of experiences and work with many different people and organizations (Sororities, Fraternities, UofSC, Celsius, Coca-Cola, Darla Moore School of Business, RedBull, & more).
Where are you located? Do you travel?
Generally speaking I keep my travel somewhat limited to the Columbia, SC/Charlotte area, but I am always down to make a trip! I am more than willing to explore alternative transportation options and accommodate your needs. A travel fee will apply, but this is something that will be discussed prior while planning the shoot.
What is the turnaround time?
The turnaround time for your photos may vary depending on the specific shoot requirements, including the duration of the session and the total number of images to be delivered. As a general guideline, my standard delivery timeframe ranges from 5 to 14 business days. Basic shoots typically have their photos edited and ready for delivery within 6-8 days, while larger events such as weddings or images requiring extensive retouching may take longer. Please note that the delivery of your photos will commence once the final invoice payment has been successfully processed. I provide frequent updates along the way as well.
What type of photography do you specialize in?
I pride myself on being a versatile and adaptable photographer given my experiences. However, I frequently am booked more often for portrait sessions, brand shoots, and freelance lifestyle photos. I am beginning to build a portfolio for weddings as well, that is my ultimate goal.
What payment methods do you accept?
To secure your appointment, a non-refundable deposit is required in USD via digital payment platforms such as Zelle, Venmo or Cash App. Final payments, including any optional gratuities, may be completed digitally or with cash at the time of the session. Please note that I do not accept cryptocurrency, money orders, or other traditional payment methods for any transactions. Be aware that certain payment processors may apply additional fees.
What are your late/rescheduling/cancellation policies?
Lateness:
Punctuality is essential for a smooth session. If you anticipate being delayed, please inform me promptly with an estimated arrival time. Be aware that any lateness will reduce your allotted shooting time. If I am already at the location and you are more than 15 minutes late without prior communication, the session will be considered canceled, and any payments made will be forfeited. In cases of extenuating circumstances requiring a reschedule, please refer to the rescheduling policy below. Should you wish to extend your session on the day of the shoot and my schedule permits, immediate payment via Venmo will be required to secure the additional time.
Rescheduling:
If you need to reschedule your session, please notify me at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time. A new date and time will be arranged based on my availability at no additional cost. Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the session will incur a $50 fee, payable in advance to confirm the new appointment, and will also depend on my availability.
Cancellation:
Rescheduling is strongly preferred over cancellation. If you’re unsure of a new date, we can tentatively schedule a future session and adjust as needed. However, if you choose to cancel your session entirely—regardless of the notice provided—all payments made toward it will be forfeited and non-refundable. In the rare event that I must cancel a session, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
What is your pricing structure like? Do you ever offer free/discounted shoots?
My photography sessions start at approximately $100/hr, with final pricing depending on various factors. For a full breakdown of costs, please visit the pricing page on my website. I also believe in giving back—if you're part of a registered 501(c) nonprofit that supports a cause I’m passionate about, I’d love to discuss offering my services at no cost. Is there anything you don't/won't shoot?
There are a few types of photography I have less experience with, such as boudoir, sports, and wildlife photography. While they aren't my main focus, I'm always open to new challenges! That said, I do have certain boundaries—I do not shoot anything pornographic or content that promotes hate or violence. Additionally, some religious customs may fall outside my expertise or comfort zone. If you're unsure whether your project aligns with my work, feel free to reach out, and I'd be happy to discuss it!
Technical Questions
How will I receive my photos? What format will they be in?
You will receive your images digitally via Google Photos
Google Photos allows the ability to view, download, or share your photos anytime without restriction.
Unless otherwise discussed beforehand, all images will be delivered as high-res .jpegs
If you require your images to be delivered as other formats (.tiff, .png, etc), I am happy to arrange for this as well as long as it has been agreed upon before booking.
If I post my images online, do I have to tag or credit you?
Although it is always nice to get a shout-out, I do not require you to credit me when you post your photos (unless it was a non-profit shoot). Please keep in mind that I am growing my business and working hard to build clientele + word of mouth marketing, and a tag would help me out a lot! Always grateful for any support I can get.
What is your refund policy?
I want you to be thrilled with your photoshoot and final images! While I don’t offer monetary refunds for completed sessions, I may provide a re-shoot or additional edits at my discretion, depending on the situation. Unless otherwise agreed upon in advance, all sales are final. If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out, and we’ll find a solution!
